BUFFET DINNER @ MARRIOTT CAFE - SINGAPORE MARRIOTT TANG PLAZA HOTEL

The Main Buffet Area
Hi Everyone! Am Back In Sunny (or not so) Singapore!:)

Had loads to eat once again this trip, however yesterday we had a wonderful Buffet dinner at the Marriott Cafe in Singapore's Tang Plaza Hotel (Link). I walk past this hotel all the time whenever I come to Orchard Road for my Shopping spree, but have never stepped in before!

Came here as Marriott Cafe was under the American Express Palate card (Palate card) whereby we get to have 50% off for 2 diners! There are other card promos as well, i.e: UOB cards. Before coming over, didn't have a really good feeling about the buffet, as the reviews from hungrygowhere weren't too great!

However, I should learn not to trust these reviews toooo much, although they are Very Useful other times!

Our Buffet Experience was Fantastic Indeed! As we stepped in, it was a very nice ambiance. Dim lighting, comfortable and a posh-ish feeling!

The Buffet spread was wonderful for the price we paid with the card special!

STARTERS
They had a Large selection of Fresh Bread, Starters and Salads! They had wonderful sauces, toppings, cheese, all sort of Olives, and they even had healthy chia seeds! Sorry, once again, was too excited, I didn't take too many photos!

Salad & Starters!

THIS was my favorite section!!! The Seafood section was really GOOD! Oysters were fresh and succulent, the prawns were sweet with a tad crunch to it! The meat of the crayfish was sweet as well as fresh! Quite a lot of crayfish I'v eaten at buffets are usually tasteless with soft dingy meat! Lastly.. the Alaskan crab legs! They were awesomely juicy and sweet with heaps of meat if you choose the right ones! I ate so much that day!

Wonderful Seafood Selection!
There was also a small Japanese section next to the seafood with Sushi, Salmon and Tuna Sashimi. Their sushi selection wasn't too impressive though!

THE MAINS
By the time it came for the cooked food, I was quite stuffed from the amount of seafood I had eaten! However, no fear! There's always space for food!:) The hot selection had quite a variety, with the carvery section: Crispy Pork Saddle ( my fav!) , Sliced Prime Beef, and fresh whole fish! The rest of the hot food were all great and fresh and placed in beautiful Le Creuset cookware!

There were also 2 stations as well that made Pasta and Chinese Noodles!

 DESSERT
The dessert section was pretty good as well! Sorry did not take photos for this, as I was way too full and could hardly do anything by then! I LOVED the sticky date pudding! Had a little of each of the desserts. Some ice cream, Grass jelly with ice, Fruits, Cakes, and bread pudding! YUM!
It's always great to end your palate with something cold and sweet!

Do Drop By! Especially when they have their card promotion! I guess without the card promotion I might think twice about stopping by, However, Wohoo! Great they are having promotions!

Till the next post, my fellow travellers!
